The symbol of the Constitutional Court of Korea is modeled after the pattern of the rose of Sharon, which is regarded as Korea’s national flower. The light of fairness diffusing from the center symbolically represents the Court protecting freedom and basic right of the people. The white background of the central circle represents equality, and the burgundy of the petals represents the authority of the Court’s decision based on trust of the people.
