Visual equipment and information system are adopted in to provide access to electronic data and documents during oral arguments or announcement of decisions in the Grand Courtroom. This facilitates communication between the parties by allowing them to search for case information and records on a real time basis during oral arguments and decision announcements, thus making the constitutional adjudication more efficient.

Case Management system
Case Management System processes every step of the adjudication from receipt of applications to final decisions, and collects and saves case related information.
It is possible to search and inquire case information, record materials and statistic data, etc. through other connected systems.
Registered documents in the e-document system
Introduced for trial proceedings for the first in Korea, the electronic document system, by having the whole trial document processing(draft, approval, screening, distribution, records) using electronic documents, triggered digitalization of case records.
Some of the constitutional adjudication documents are transmitted through government intranet and this increases effectivity.
Electronic case record archive
All the case records since the establishment of our Court in 1988 have been scanned, and since 2002, they have been digitalized and constructed as a database.
Paper documents have been scanned into image formats for reference, and since the second half of 2005, all trial documents have been processed by the trial electronic document system, thereby completing a digitalized database of every case.
With the Case Management System and electronic document system, documents are processed while digitalized records are saved and managed at the same time.
Constitutional adjudication information(searching cases, etc.)
As judgments in constitutional adjudication involves consulting diverse material, search system for cases and Court published material has been constructed and operated in order to enable collection various information and effective search of numerous materials, from decisions and case records to research reports and all sorts of literature, to relevant law, legislation and court rulings. Search engine has been adopted to help find text and meta-data easily, and to enable integrated search by collecting information from the websites of related institutions. For the improvement of search efficiency, the databases have been complemented and functions updated consistently.

Constructed and operated for the efficiency of library works such as material purchase and donation, collection DB constructing, material borrowing and returning.

Information system has been constructed and is operating to meet the users’ various needs, such as enabling search and use of resources owned by external institutions like the Court library and the National Assembly library.
Improvement project of the electronic library system, such as digitalization of the collection including original text and index of domestic and foreign materials on the constitution and law, or an integrated electronic library system responding to changes of library information environment, is consistently pursued to provide the users with better searching service.

Running the website
Since our website was founded in 1998 to better inform the public on constitutional adjudication, and to promote the Constitutional Court properly, various sites have been added to and renewal is implemented biennially for extensive service development.
Constitutional Court’s data center
Data center has been constructed and operated to deal with various servers(HW) and devices. Equipped with a thermo-hygrostat, UPS, etc. for stable operation.
Constitutional Court’s cyber security center
Constructed and operated to efficiently protect, detect and to build a rapid response system against increasing cyber break-ins, and to preserve important information about constitutional adjudication.
It ensures credibility of our Court as it provides stable services for 24 hours, 365 days around the Constitutional Court’s information system including its website.
